Hello! Here at school, we have been very busy learning about citizenship- what it means and how we can be good citizens! Learning happens best when it is done both at school and at home. Below are many ways that you can help your child continue to learn about the theme of citizenship through reading about it, talking about it, and practicing it! We have really enjoyed exploring this topic at school, and I hope your family will enjoy it just as much!

¡Hola! Aquí en la escuela, hemos estado muy ocupados aprendiendo sobre ciudadanía, ¡lo que significa y cómo podemos ser buenos ciudadanos! El aprendizaje ocurre mejor cuando se realiza tanto en la escuela como en casa. Citizenship education will help develop "soft skills" that future employers look for when hiring employees, such as integrity, teamwork , and communication. Teaching citizenship or our children will help to create informed citizens who take responsibility for their actions and contribute positively to their communities.
