Parents,
Hello! During this month ere at school, your student will be learning about trustworthiness- what it means and how we can be a trustworthy friend! Learning happens best when it is done both at school and at home. Below are many ways that you can help your child continue to learn about the theme of trustworthiness through reading about it, talking about it, and practicing it! We have really enjoyed exploring this topic at school, and I hope your family will enjoy it just as much!

¡Hola! Durante este mes en la escuela, su estudiante estar aprendiendo sobre la confiabilidad: lo que significa y cómo podemos ser un amigo confiable. El aprendizaje ocurre mejor cuando se realiza tanto en la escuela como en el hogar. • Tell me about a time when you were tempted to lie or do something that wasn’t trustworthy. What happened?
•Has anyone ever lied to you? How did it make you feel?
• Are there any secrets that you shouldn’t keep?

Use building blocks to build a tower with your child. Each time you add a block to the tower, talk about one thing that can build trust. Every so often, talk about something that would break trust. Then, knock the tower down. Repeat the activity as desired. Talk with your child about how trust can be built and destroyed.
