Lesson: Kindness

Lesson Objectives:

Students will:

Define what kindness means

Discuss examples that show how kindness looks

Reflect on how they can spread kindness

What is kindness?

Kindness simply is a positive action that leaves someone in a better situation than before.

When can you be kind?

  • Every day

  • Don’t wait for people to be kind: Show them how!!


How can we show kindness at our school?

  • Be respectful to your teacher

  • Use good manners & Be polite

  • Open a door for someone

  • Play with someone new

  • Smile at someone new

  • Lend a classmate a pencil

  • Help someone in need

Other ways to show Kindness

  • Help someone with a heavy load

  • Treat others as you would like to be treated

  • Water a dry houseplant

  • Forgive someone in your family/ or a friend

  • Read to a younger child

  • Help a teacher

  • Clean your room at home

  • Listen to a friend who needs to talk

KINDNESS IS ENDLESS!!!!
