Sora (direct link: https://soraapp.com/welcome/login/766) or accessed from Granite Bookmarks on a Chromebook is a reading and listening app through which students can access thousands of ebooks and audiobooks in Granite School District’s collection. Students can read or listen to these books using a Chromebook, desktop computer, or personal mobile device.

When You Place Holds We Buy More Copies!

Every week we also buy additional copies of books we already own that have many holds placed on them, so that students can get their turn sooner. If you want to read a book, please place a hold on it! This tells us to buy more copies, and the book will almost always come to you sooner than the wait time listed in Sora.

Recently Renewed!

Some titles in Sora expire after a certain period of time or a certain number of checkouts. If students place holds on those books, we renew them so that they can be checked out some more. You can find these books in our Recently Renewed! collection. Don't let them go to waste while we have them!
