After having the lazy pesto pasta, I think I should make a fresh pesto sauce from scratch just to show my students what ingredients contribute to this amazing sauce. The key is basil. Pesto is usually made of sweet basil but today I’m gonna use the lime basil I’ve been growing. Together with roasted garlic, pine nuts and cheese, this sauce is gonna impress my mum.
