One of my students has been very picky with food. He loves doughnuts and fried chickens so I was a bit overjoyed when I saw his question, "How do you make tomato sauce for spaghetti?"
There are also other two S1 students who want me to make spaghetti/pasta. And a S2 student living nearby is going to cook a dinner for her family on Sunday while their helper is away.
Okay, for those 4 students, I have made one of my favourite pasta, Tomato Prawn Spaghetti. What I like about this dish is that you don't need sugar and ketchup. I used two types of tomatoes, a few veggies, tomato paste 茄膏 and cooking cream to get a subtle balance of sweetness and sourness. You can sprinkle some fresh basil and grated cheese on top to make it a heavenly delicious meal.
In case you are allergic to seafood, you can simply replace the prawns and clams with any meat you want. :)
