Jar Jar Links

Busy times here at Deep Space Transmissions Towers, filling up the back pages with the content that was always supposed to be there. Check out the Interview Index for lots of new stuff there (and lots more to come)!

Anyhoo, out in the real world, San Diego Comic-Con came and went and, despite featuring in no less than three separate panels (Update - thanks to OriginalEyeball for the heads-up on the Deepak Chopra link), Grant didn't shed much light on what he's got coming up apart from the ubiquitous Action Comics relaunch (from which Newsarama showcased this excellent interior art by Rags Morales , click the pics for the big versions).

Despite that, Mr. Morrison's been popping up all over the internet promoting Supergods in what must be one of the most entertaining rounds of interviews he's done in ages. Newsarama caught up with him for a twoparter, with a little sugar for Doug Moench's Master of Kung Fu, a longtime favourite round these parts; Entertainment Weekly hosted a meeting of minds between him and Neil Gaiman; and there was a taster of the substance of Supergods in a piece Grant wrote on his favourite super-hero comics for UK newspaper The Guardian.

The personal appearances continued too, with a talk at Hollywood's Meltdown Comics producing this musical curio and a couple more coming up next weekend at Isotope Comics, where attendees will also be presented with one of these handsome devils...

As usual, if you're in the area, be sure to pick me one up... Still waiting on all those Sinatoro shirts to arrive...

If you're lucky enough to live in America (and are therefore able to buy variant comics at reasonable prices from ebay sellers who don't ship internationally...) Patrick Meaney's excellent Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods is now available to watch on Hulu for free!

And finally, DC releases the solicit for Action Comics #2, which, though it looks excellent, will, depressingly, have yet another 1:200 variant cover I'll never be able to buy. Stupid Atlantic Ocean...
