Handle Them With Chip Kidd Gloves

Ever fancy owning a piece of the original artwork from All Star Superman #10? Hard lines, Chip Kidd has bought every single page and made them into a crazy glass art book. He says its because he loves Quitely's intricate line work so much and that #10 was his favourite issue of the series. That seems fair enough but could anybody really say that Batman and Robin #2 was their favourite issue? Or did the likely astronomical price tag on the cover to issue one price him out of the market?

If anyone fancies making one of these themselves there's about three quarters of the original art for Batman and Robin #3 (including the amazing subliminal inside-out Killing Joke homage cover) still for sale at Graphic Collectables. It'll set you back a few quid though. Or you could print these pretty pictures out on some nice paper and just pretend...

Also, isn't it weird that Kidd used his own All Star Batman and Robin logo rather than Rian Hughes' actual Batman and Robin logo?. I like yours better Rian!

See Kidd in all his twitchy glory here, as I can't get the video to embed...
