Kingswood Sports Academy Captains

The Kingswood Sports Academy’s mission is to become a leading school in sport in the Hull and East Riding area. Our chosen captains lead our teams with determination and drive. 

As a captain, we expect our students to show passion in their chosen sport and demonstrate a commitment to developing both their own skills and the skills of their team. Captains are selected by the coach and based upon the way a student is conducting themselves: both around the academy and within a sporting environment. They are leaders who can inspire a team, as well as people who can show compassion and understanding to other team players when needed. 

Our captains also have responsibilities such as reminding students of upcoming fixtures, training sessions and key messages from the coaches. When representing Kingswood Academy on fixtures or tours, our captains inspire their teams and maintain a positive and sportsmanship character.
