House Ambassador
What is the role?
The role of a House Ambassador is one of privilege, pride and responsibility. Students require dedication and commitment throughout the entire year to support the house in charitable events and competitions. Further duties include:
Lead and support the students of your House in a variety of House Competitions;
Work closely with the House Leader, providing ideas and support for competitions and House-related activities;
Attend regular meetings with the House Leader;
Inspire the students and staff of your House;
Be an excellent role model in behaviour, attitude and dress at all times;
Be available for events such as inter house football and school bake sales.
The application process and characteristics
Students have the opportunity to apply to be a House Ambassador at the start of the new academic year. The students are required to fill in an application form that outlines the reasons why they are suitable for the role and the skills that they possess.
Each House Ambassador will be different and will contribute an assortment of skills and ideas to the role. The Characteristics of a House Ambassador is:
Polite and well-mannered;
Organised and committed;
A confident speaker;
Well-presented in uniform and appearance;
Able to liaise and converse with staff, students and the wider community;
Desire to act responsibly and to be a role model for other students;
Be caring, mature and honest.
