At Kingswood, we are dedicated to engaging with our local community. Every year, we organise a variety of exciting events that invite community members to join in on activities that highlight our departments within school and significant events throughout the calendar year. This has the aim of further developing our strong bond with our local community.

Guests enjoyed a wide variety of delicious cakes and treats prepared by our food technician. The event raised a huge total of £223 for McMillan.
Following the event, feedback from staff voice was that it would be great to have more regular coffee events in the future.

Students perform at the care home on two occasions. Residents on the first day in the general ward and on the second day on the Alzheimer's ward. The students received extremely positive feedback from both residents and staff and it was fantastic to see our students interacting with the residents and spreading some Christmas cheer!
Each year our Dynamix choir perform a range of Christmas carols and songs to members of the public to spread festive cheer in our community.
We received outstanding feedback last year from both staff at the centre and members of the public throughout the visit. The centre manager has already been back in touch to arrange future performances there in the new year.
