GRADE: 11, 12 | SCORE: Non-Weighted | PHS CREDIT: 1 | SEMESTER | ELECTIVE
The focus will be on weight training, speed, agility, flexibility and plyometrics to enhance athletic performance. There will be an emphasis on nutrition, writing goals and individual workouts. The format will include physical workouts, classroom discussions, writing programs, and many physical education concepts. Assessments will be both physical and written. This class is designed for students highly involved in athletics or active extra-curricular activities. Individual expectations of students are to be highly motivated to complete their workouts in a timely manner. This is a higher level weight training course.
