This course is designed to take students from the start of a product or service to get it into consumers’ hands. Students will brainstorm a product or service and take this idea and go through the marketing process. Students will look at what marketing is, perform market research, investigate customers, and go through the marketing mix: product, place (distribution), price, and promotion. Students will learn marketing vocabulary, perform marketing case studies, and make a presentation at the end of the semester about their own product or service.
