    • 87820 ^Welding 1 Short Circuit Transfer (WEL 244)

Students will have the exciting opportunity to learn how to have a career in Welding (GMAW) and other fields. To be able to read a blueprint proficiently. This course will challenge the minds of the students of where else this talent can be utilized.

Students will have the opportunity to see what welding is really about and will have a lot of hands on experiences with welding and blueprint reading. The skills learned in this class will be a skill that will be with them for a lifetime and gives them other opportunities at other careers they may not have thought of. There will be a lot of responsibility on the student to respect the equipment and to keep it in the running order. This class is intended for active/hand on learning.

If a student misses more than the allowed days as in the schools handbook the student may be removed from the class. Students with excessive absences (10 or more) may be asked to sign an attendance agreement.
