Critical Life Impact to Maximize Balance: Do you struggle with stress and anxiety that is frequently overwhelming? Have you had difficult events happen in your life you don’t know how to deal with? This is an elective social/behavior science class designed to assist students to develop coping strategies for life. Students with adverse childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, or who are struggling to develop resiliency, understand how to reduce stress, and make productive choices to build positive social skills. This course is designed with hands-on/interactive activities, games, strategies, and processing opportunities to help understand your thoughts and choices. These are used to help improve relationships, communication skills, study skills, dealing with authority, understanding criticism, employability skills, and to develop a positive mindset to improve choices and opportunities in and out of school.
