PREREQUISITE: Intro to Precalculus OR Finite Math; entrance exam called the ALEKS test with a score of 30 or higher. 1.) The student has a cumulative G.P.A of 3.00 or above, or 2.) The student has a 3.00 G.P.A. or above in previous related course work. Exceptions to this prerequisite can be made via a written application process. This course will cover tabular and graphical presentation. The measure of central tendency, variation, position, standard probability calculations involving the binomial, multinomial, poisson, geometric, hypergeometric and normal distributions. Understanding the Central Limit Theorem, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, analysis of variance and several nonparametric procedures.
