Students enrolled in this class will be working as Peer Helpers, who will work one-on-one with the students with special needs (Adaptive Art Students.). The Peer Helpers will learn different ways to modify tools, materials and project to assist the Adaptive Art students with creating their own works of art. This program will focus on providing an enjoyable experience for our students where they can explore their emotions, their five senses, and their range of abilities through creative steps.

The Peer Helpers will meet every day, while the Adaptive Art students with special needs will attend this class twice per week. The Peer Helpers will be responsible for learning about the art concepts & projects, working with students with special needs, keeping a log of all activities, interactions, and experiences with the Adaptive Art students.
