Lolly Metcalf’s pronunciation of the ejective in this word is such a light articulation of an ejective so that no one would really know that it is an ejective.  We assume that Jacobs really heard an ejective in this word from Mrs. Peterson. 

There are quite a few other examples of the sound correspondence of Lolly Metcalf’s Coos Bay Milluk having the phonetic vowel [ ɪ ] where Annie Miner Peterson’s Milluk has a Schwa [ ə ].
