This word does not occur in the Milluk texts, but Jacobs transcribed Annie Miner Peterson as saying a Milluk one-word sentence: [ mɩtʼɫmɩ́ˑyɑ́xʼw ] ‘I bit it (many times).  The word ‘chewed’ is written under the word ‘bit’.  That is in Jacobs’ handwriting on a sheet of Hanis and Milluk phrases and sentences that Jacobs asked for.  We have it on a PDF (actually a JPG file) labeled as slipfile5.
