We give Lolly credit, so to speak, for having said a Long M [ mˑ ] in this word, even though it is not obviously long in her two times saying this word.  Jacobs is remarkably consistent in having transcribed a variety of different forms of this word in the Milluk texts as each having a Long M [ mˑ ].  We see only two times out of several examples where he did not hear a Long M [ mˑ ] in a form of this word.
