Target: Students will be able to read and apply binary (number) code to regularly written English.

Assignment

Step 1: Go online and find an image of a "Hello, my name is..." name tag. Pull the name tag into PhotoShop onto a doc.

The canvas dimensions need to be: 4 inches high, 5 inches wide.

Be sure the name tag stretches to all the edges of the canvas.

Step 2: Using the table below, figure out the code for your whole name- first and last name. You will want to write this down somewhere!

Step 3: Fit your binary name into the white space of the name tag.

Step 4: Print your name tag, cut it out, mount it on black paper.

Step 5: Turn in your name tag to the teacher.
