SCREENPLAYS AND SCENES
Before writing your script: MAKE AN OUTLINE! (see below)- no word vomit.
Print the outline out.
Fill in the:
intro and set-up
the rising action
the climax point
the falling action
and the resolution
In working groups, students will adapt a classic Fairy Tale for use as a 5-minute audio play. Written scripts must be accompanied by the following components:
1. Cast list with descriptions (sound of the voice, looks, etc.) of all major characters
2. Stage directions and acting notations in the script, with clearly indicated suggestions for sound effects, and any other special effects desired.
3. Be sure to include shot types and camera angles.

1. Using your outline, write out your script using google docs.
2. Read aloud to make sure it makes sense and all parts work together.
3. Practice doing 'live reads' in the halls/ classroom.
WE WILL BE ACTING THESE OUT IN CLASS ON FRIDAY.
