September 20, 2021 Minutes
Present: Alphia Creapeau, Doug Huck, Pat Pleshek, Marge Eberhard, Joe Ejnik, Jim Hoffman and James Matthews. Superintendent - Newell Haffner, Benjamin Heninger - Principal, Director of Finance - Denise Guex, and Administrative Assistant - Cathy Opperman.
Meeting Called to Order: The meeting was opened at 6:00 pm by President Alphia Creapeau.
Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
Approve the Agenda: Motion to amend the agenda (move #13 to #5) and second was made by Marge Eberhard, second by Pat Pleshek, voice vote was 7-0 in favor, motion carried.
Public Comments: Detailed comments are filed in the office.
Construction Update: No update given.
Informational Discussion about COVID Protocols with Kyla Heiman/School Nurse and Dr. Joe Guenther/School Doctor: Discussion took place and information was verbally given regarding COVID-19.
Consent Agenda
Previous Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve the meeting minutes of September 13, 2021 was made by Joe Ejnik, second by Doug Huck, voice vote was 7-0 in favor, motion carried.
Administrative Report by Newell Haffner: No update was given.
Operations Report by James Dudek: No update was given.

2020-2021 Seclusion and Restraint Act 125 Reporting: Motion to approve the 2020-2021 Seclusion and Restraint Act 125 Report was made by Pat Pleshek, second by Jim Mathews, 7-0 in favor, motion carried.
Back to School Plan: The plan was discussed.
COVID Clinic Update: The clinic is set up and operating. The tent is located in the front of school.
Masking Policy: Motion to enforce the masking policy starting Thursday, September 23rd, for a two week period, while revisiting the policy and receiving updates from administration at each board meeting, to determine course of action at the discretion of the board was made by Marge Eberhard, second by Doug Huck, 6 in favor, 1 opposed (Joe Ejnik), motion carried.
Motion to Move into Closed Session: Motion to move into closed session was made by Doug Huck, second by Marge Eberhard, voice vote was 7-0 in favor, motion carried.
Motion to Reconvene in Open Session: Motion to reconvene in open session was made by Jim Hoffman, second by Jim Mathews, voice vote was 7-0 in favor, motion carried.
Motion Made as a Result of Closed Session: Motion to approve administrators recommendation was made by Doug Huck, second by Pat Pleshek, voice vote was 7-0 in favor, motion carried.
