July 1, 2019 Minutes
Present: Alphia Creapeau, Grace Schwefel, Joe Ejnik, Marge Eberhard, Doug Huck (7:10pm). Absent - Terrance Miller and Andy Schmidt. Also present: Superintendent - Newell Haffner and Administrative Assistant - Cathy Opperman.
Meeting Called to Order: The meeting was opened at 7:00 pm by President Alphia Creapeau.
Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present
Approve or Amend the Agenda: Motion to approve the agenda as presented was made by Marge Eberhard, second by Joe Ejnik, voice vote was 4-0 in favor, 3 absent, motion carried.

Consent Agenda
Previous Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve the June 17th meeting minutes was made by Marge Eberhard, second by Joe Ejnik, voice vote was 4-0 in favor, 3 absent, motion carried.
June Voucher Report: Motion to approve the June voucher report was made by Grace Schwefel, second by Doug Huck, voice vote was 5-0 in favor, 2 absent, motion carried.
Resignation - Rachel Binns/Kindergarten Teacher: Motion to accept the resignation of Rachel Binns was made by Marge Eberhard, second by Joe Ejnik, voice vote was 5-0 in favor, 2 absent, motion carried.
Picture of Full Board for 2019-2020: Picture will be taken at the next board meeting.
Administrative Report by Newell Haffner: Newell reviewed the following: Technology, trainings, summer school, attendance (warnings and truancy meetings), discipline (suspensions and expulsions), honor roll and failing classes.
Finance and Operations Report by Nick Curran: No report was given.
28-1 Policy Update (2nd read): Motion to approve 28-1 Policy Update with changes discussed (Policy 63.20 - leave amount at $500, at least one employee shall be present at bid opening) was made by Joe Ejnik, second by Doug Huck, voice vote was 5-0 in favor, 2 absent, motion carried.
Construction Update: Construction officially started on July 1, 2019.
Environmental Pollution Insurance: Motion to purchase environmental pollution insurance for 3 years at $13,532 was made by Grace Schwefel, second by Doug Huck, voice vote was 5-0 in favor, 2 absent, motion carried.
Resolution #70-2019 - Academic Standards for 2019-2020 School Year: Motion to approve Resolution #7-2019 - Providing Academic Standards for Gresham School District for 2019-2020 was made by Doug Huck, second by Marge Eberhard, voice vote was 5-0 in favor, 2 absent, motion carried.
