December 15, 2021

Attendance: Heather Wilber-President, Alphia Creapeau-SM-Tribal Rep, Superintendent Newell Haffner, Nancy Buettner-Title support, Sabrina Miller

Approve the Agenda: Motion to approve the agenda was made by Sabrina Miller, second by Alphia Creapeau, voice vote was 4-0 in favor, motion carried.

Approve Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve the November 17, 2021 meeting notes by Alphia Creapeau and seconded by Nancy Buettner, voice vote was 4-0, motion carried.

The election of officers. Sabrina Miller was asked and accepted the nomination for President. The vote was 4-0 in favor of Sabrina for President.

Discussed having events at the Stockbridge-Munsee Family Center. We talked about having ribbon skirts and moccasins activities. We thought having them twice a month-starting in February-would have the ribbon skirts and moccasins ready for the Pow-Wow in May. Possible helpers are Carmen Mason, Muriel??, and LInda Rudesill. Newell reported on his attempts to contact the Stockbridge-Munsee Family Center. He talked to Crystal Malone about doing it on the first and third Saturdays of the month-Feb 6, 20 and March 6, 20. Maybe-Crystal knows somebody to help with sewing and for moccasins. They talked about providing food. They talked about inviting Bowler to do it, also.

We discussed the beading during the ninth hour at school as part of the enrichment program. Nancy Buettner updated us that Aurora Arce will teach beading during ninth hour.

Graduation: June 3, 2022 @ 7:00 pm. Jeremy Mohawk and his drumming group will drum for graduation.
