Access from home

It's likely that the computer your child is using to access Seesaw is the same one you as a parent use, so to avoid confusion it's probably better if your child used a different browser, ie if the you as a parent like to use Chrome* then your child could use Firefox or Opera for example.

If your child is using a tablet, then they need to use the Class app, not the Family app.

Your child will need to sign in using their Google account, not a Seesaw account, and they will need to include the 'gapps' in the email address, eg mchug78652@gapps.uwcsea.edu.sg and the same password they use to access the college systems at school.

We suggest you use the Chrome browser, so that the experience at home is as similar to that in school as possible. You might wish to utlise the account management options in Chrome, this way parent and child can easily switch or even have both accounts open at the same time on the same computer without any problems with account conflicts, or the compromising of personal information. Just click in the top right corner of the browser to switch between accounts.

If prompted for permission to access the camera/microphone, please ensure you allow.

If the above is difficult or confusing, then a practical and simple alternative is to ask the child to use a completely different browser to whatever you as parents use, if there isn't one there are plenty of alternatives that you can download for free, eg Firefox, Opera, Brave....
