Speech to text
When you have a child that writing or typing is stifling their ability to create you can turn on the speech to text function.
Speech to text is turned off for us as a department currently. If you think it will be useful please contact ITsupport to activate the function.
You can find the ability to switch on this function in General: Settings: Keyboard: Enable dictation.

Widget Online
Liz Tranter uses this great website called Widgit Online. It is a website that creates symbols for schedules, vocabulary sheets and lots more. You can find more information here.
Liz has added all grades to the site and will send out login details. Currently your login is for the grade and only one person can use it at one time. Liz has trained Grade 2 TA's already to use it so she is ready to give support if you need it!
