When you share YouTube videos with students, it's worth getting rid of the (possibly inappropriate) associated videos/comments by using

http://viewpure.com/ or any of the others that provide a similar service for teachers.

Just paste in the link to the YouTube video you want to use, and you get the video without the rubbish!

Hack

Another 'hack' is to simply add a " - " in the URL after the T

For example this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMYzPBn63Ic

becomes this link: https://www.yout-ube.com/watch?v=FMYzPBn63Ic
