Google Albums

In Infant school we use Google Albums to showcase the classes shared experiences. Parents need to be invited to the album and the media disclaimer must be present either in the email or as part of the album. The album is part of the weekly newsletter. Teams should discuss if the albums showcase a learning experience for the week or multiple. Each experience comes with an informative caption for the parents.

These photos and videos are for your personal family use. Please respect the privacy of other members of the community by not widely disseminating photos of children from other families without their permission, for example, through Facebook.

Setting up a Google Album

Go to:

Photos
Albums
Title
Go to the arrows and sort photos by Recently added (Check that dates on iPads are correct as this messes up the photo entry into your album)
3 dots: Options
Turn OFF Collaborate , comments and notifications
Click on Share and create link
Share with your parents with media disclaimer attached

Captions

Add your captions to explain the learning by clicking on Edit album there you will find the Tt icon. Click on that and the caption box will come up.
