DO NOW: Quick Jot
WHAT: What observations did you have about building a metaphoric character on Tuesday?
SO WHAT: What does that tell you about developing a character? What is important?
NOW WHAT: How can you use that information when creating your own script?
METAPHORIC CHARACTER BUILDING (individual):
Character Building Worksheet
Choose an object in the room. (What type of object lends itself well to this activity?)
Write down observations for at least five minutes. (Use the reverse side of your sheet.)
Use your observations to build a character.
STUDIO TIME:
Discuss your character with another student. Begin a script with both of your characters meeting for the first time.
