LEARNING GOAL: Outline the beginning stasis and inciting incident of your group's story.

DO NOW: Survey

Are you in stasis or in conflict?

Stasis = Before the story starts, or after it ends. Everything is pretty "normal," and there is a predictable daily routine.

Dramatic Conflict = Stasis has been upset, and now characters must accomplish a goal in order to return to stasis.

COLD CALL:

Three cards will be pulled to share response to the survey. Volunteers will be taken as well.

BREAKOUT ROOMS:

After completing the survey, discuss the outline (in Classroom) with each other.

Complete at least the "Beginning Stasis" and "Inciting Incident."

DO NEXT:

Continue with outline. Make sure all group members are sharing ideas.
