List multiple reasons why two people, who are not in the same room, would need to communicate with each other.
List the different ways they could communicate with each other.
EXAMPLE:
As a class, read “Spies in the House of Love.” Need 3 volunteers to read.
Afterwards, identify character goals in Google Classroom.
STUDIO TIME:
After having written a monologue, it’s time to try dialogue in a script with multiple characters.
During studio time today and tomorrow (Friday), write a short script with 2-3 characters.
Challenge: The characters in your script are not in the same room (look at your brainstorming from the Do Now).
In advance, plan what the characters’ goals are. What do they want from this conversation?
The script should be less than 5 pages. Use the structure of Dimestore Novelist.
