DO NOW: Quick Jot

Look at the two frames below.

-Which one do you think looks more professional? What makes you say that?

-In the frame you prefer, who is the "hero" of the image? Why?

TURN & TALK:

There are 9 frames on the Cinematography subpage. For each frame, briefly discuss with a partner how the shot or angle helps tell a story. (How would it be different if it was filmed from a different shot/angle?)

IPAD PROTOCOL:

When you take an iPad out of the cart, put your name on the Checkout form (also available at the top of the page).

If you have an iPad and you have not checked it out, I will return it to the cart for the day.

If you repeatedly use iPads without checking them out, you will be responsible for bringing in your own camera for the class.

You need permission from people before you take a picture/video of them.

You do not need students from other classes for this assignment.

STUDIO TIME: Shots + Angles Collection

The full assignment is due on Monday at the end of class.
