ADMINISTRATIVE ABSENCE

1. Purpose

• The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School Committee requires that at all times there be continuous administrative control in the District including within each of the District schools.

• The Superintendent is directed to make certain that someone in authority is present at all times in the District.

2. General Procedures

• An organizational chart, to be included as an exhibit to this policy, shall be developed and routinely maintained which shall provide a chain of command with telephone numbers to be kept in the central office and shall be updated as necessary to keep all numbers current.

• The Superintendent shall notify the School Committee chair if the chain of command is activated.
