ADMINISTRATIVE ABSENCE
1. Purpose
The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School Committee requires that at all times there be continuous administrative control in the District including within each of the District schools.
The Superintendent is directed to make certain that someone in authority is present at all times in the District.
2. General Procedures
An organizational chart, to be included as an exhibit to this policy, shall be developed and routinely maintained which shall provide a chain of command with telephone numbers to be kept in the central office and shall be updated as necessary to keep all numbers current.
The Superintendent shall notify the School Committee chair if the chain of command is activated.
