How and where to cut access panel in the boot to get to fuel sender/pipe

You may find that the sender unit is at fault in the tank.

Sometimes, if your lucky, the connections will just need cleaning up.

The float could be stuck or the coil of wire in the sender may have snapped (would need replacing if this is the case.

To access the sender the tank needs to be lowered, or you can cut a small hole in the boot floor then make a panel out of some thick plastic to cover up when finished.

This is the access plate I made for my old Rialto, the piccy should give you some idea where to cut.
