Please note the following info supplied by Bill ;
In trying to find a class 3 station in my local area I found a file on data.gov.uk listing all 20000-odd MOT stations, including addresses, phone numbers and CLASSES REGISTERED.
I have applied a filter to this to narrow it to the 968 currently (as of 26/10/11) registered for class 3.
{ 1 } List is based on DFT data last revised 26/10/11.
{ 2 } List has been sorted BY POSTCODE, ALPHABETICALLY.
So please scroll down column " H " until you see your local postcode area
( You may also want to look at a nearby postcode area if you live near a boundary ).
{ 3 } Note that some phone numbers are missing the leading '0'.
{ 4 } Please do not bite me for any dead links within it - it's based on publicly displayed data and we are all clever enough to phone an MoT centre to check before driving there, aren't we!
