BRAKES ; KITTEN / FOX
BRAKES -
Fox brakes share all parts except the drums with the later dual-circuit Kitten.
Earlier Kittens with single-line brakes use the wider 15/16" or 23mm bore cylinders, from Mini 850, 1968-85. Fox and
Late Kittens because of the dual system, use the 13/16" or 20mm bore, from Mini 850, 1964-67.
Both Fox drums are heavier and different from the Kitten ones.
Mini drums are deeper, but may be used if a spacer disc fitting the hub face depression is made up to compensate.
Front hubs 'corners' may seat just onto a Mini drum, but with nowhere near sufficient contact unless a spacer disc is used
