FUEL FILTER ; INLINE

One of the biggest causes of problems with the carb is poor / intermittent or no fuel delivery .

The culprit is hiding away inside the petrol feed pipe from the tank to the fuel pump .

When you get the little blighter out , because it is about as much use as a chocolate teapot ,

stick it in a catapult and launch it into space or shove it in the bin !!!

INLINE FUEL FILTER ; LOCATION ,

The fuel filter is located inside the fuel line which is clipped on the angled section

of the chassis just in front of the petrol tank as per ;

FILTER ; FUEL INLINE FILTER ; This is located clipped to the inside of the chassis which goes down at an angle from in front of the petrol tank .

INLINE FUEL FILTER ; CLOSE UP VIEW ;

Note that you can see the filter inside the clear petrol pipe joiner .

THIS IS OFTEN NOT THE CASE AND THE CLEAR PETROL PIPE WILL BE DISCOLOURED AND DIRTY .

The ends of the clear petrol pipe are normally held in place by wire clamps

which become CORRODED and end up with VICIOUS SHARP POINTS on the wire

which can rip your hands ;
