The Arduino Microcontroller to control gear motors and contstruct a chassis that will be used for a robot car in a later project
Learned Soldering techniques and made a circuit with a practice board
Made a security camera that took still pitures when it detects an object as to close
Our goal was to design, build, and program a bluetooth RC car that has a camera and various sensors (controlled with a Raspberry PI) to drive and complete other tasks via code with a mobile phone. The car will have ultrasonic sensors to avoid obstacles and a photosynthesis sensor to turn on LED lights if the cars surrounding are too dark
Our goal was to make a spring loaded T-Shirt cannon, if there is extra time we can modify it so it can be wired to motors and controlled on the swerve base. While we did not achieve this, we learned a lot about design, planning, 3-D printing, problem solving, and commication.
As we are both members of our FIRST robotics team, we decided to make a functioning app for scouting for the 2024 FRC game, Crescendo. This app will make it easy to gather and analyze information about other teams to aid in alliance selection.
