Brandon learned how to use the Arduino by creating a project that used the Arduino and some LEDs. With the push of a button, a random amount of LEDs would light up in a specific pattern which acted like a random dice roll.
Brandon learned how to solder by completing the practice soldering kit. With the time remaining, he started to work on a project that would use Siri on the iPhone to voice activate LEDs.
Brandon was able to learn how to use Unity and create a 2D game that was similar to the Pokémon games on the Game Boy and Nintendo DS. In the game, you were able to walk around and walk in the tall grass where you would encounter a wild pokémon and battle it.
Brandon wanted to learn how to use Unreal Engine by creating some simple games. These games included Pong, Space Invaders, and an infinite runner game.
Brandon learned how to use the Raspberry Pi to make a smart mirror. He used the Raspberry Pi, and old iPad, a two-way mirror, and a frame to make it. This smart mirror displayed the time, date, weather, NBA scores, and what is currently playing on Spotify.
Brandon wanted to continue working on the smart mirror. He was able to add separate pages for each module instead of all the modules bunched up in one page. To switch between the pages, he used two ultrasonic sensors that would switch the page when you swipe in front of the sensors.
