"100 mistakes are an education if you learn something from each one"
I relearned the basics of soldering while James began learning how to solder
Me and Joyce both relearned the basics of Arduino playing around with basic LED lights
Joyce and Alex manged to get a RC Car working but me and Alex developed a personal Bluetooth app, fine tuned, and upgraded the car with more features
Me and Kayla got an reconnected a previous students LED board and got it working. We also got it to connect to Bluetooth and display different animations with the colors
This was a big project which was cut short with the Covid - 19 pandemic. using a 36o degree camera we turn various rooms into 3D models which were than uploaded to Unity where an oculas vr headset would be used to go explore the world
I like to thank Mr. Detrick and the rest of the advance topics class for the wonderful year I had despite it getting cut short with the Covid 19 Pandemic. I wouldn't have traded any of my projects or partners I worked with for anything as the experience I was received was invaluable. I worked along side what I believe is the next future leaders of STEM and computer science and I wish everyone the best of luck wherever their road leads. I simply can not wait to see what we are able to do as we go through the next stages of our lives. None of this or what I was able to create would be possible had it not been for Mr. Detrick investing a lot of his time with the computer science program and this class. I personally can never thank Mr. Detrick enough for what he has done for me and I hope I can repay his favors with my future accomplishments in computer science as I purse a degree in it. I believe the best way to end this would be to show you a clip from one of my favorite nights during this year.
