Learning Module 2: Arduinos: (With Jess K)
Left: Simple circuit using Arduino.
Right: Using joystick to turn on the lights directional-y.
Learning Module 3: Amazon Alexa (Joyce L.)
We tried using an Amazon Alexa to create our own programs.
Learning Module 4: GitHub and Repl.it (Matt O.)
We investigated the classroom applications of using GitHub and Repl.it.
(And realized that we should use Repl.it for the AP classes.
Learning Module 5: Micro-bit Plane Part 1 (Matt O.)
We decided to make a remote control plane, but using micro-bits.
We only got the guts done due to time constraints, but the next module will be to finish the plane.
Learning Module 6: Return of the Micro-bit Plane! (Matt O.)
We made some upgrades to the guts, added another motor into the circuit, and designed the entire plane on fusion 360. However, the plane took weeks to print out and most of Mr. D's filament so we never got it finished. (Spoiler alert, it wouldn't have flied anyway).
Learning Module 7: 3D Warren Hills (Ary P. Nicole K.)
For the most ambitious project of my year at least, we decided to make an interactive, 3D model of the school. My job was to create the actual 3D model itself, while Ary figured out the VR interface, and Nicole made it possible to navigate through the model in unity.
