Learning Module #1 - Soldering
Learning to Solder - Partnered with Ryan C
For the first Learning module, Ryan and Reilyn decided to solder a circuit board. The goal of the project was to get the light switch and LEDs to work. Throughout the 6 days Ryan and Reilyn had to work on this project, They ran into a few issues but they made adjustments and got the kit to work how they had intended.

Learning module #2 - Arduino
Working with Arduino - Partnered with Walter Zhong
For the second learning module, Reilyn and Walters' decided to work with an Arduino. Their goal for this module was to learn how to wire and program the Arduino so the LED lights and buttons on the breadboard work according to the code. Throughout the 6 days they had to finish this module, Reilyn and Walter had a few complications that you can read about in the daily log/final write up.

Learning Module #3
Learning Python - Just Reilyn
For the third learning module, Reilyn did a independent module and taught herself Java during the four day that she had to complete the learning module. Reilyn did not get very far in her learning module due to issues with SoloLearn and other things, although, she did learn the first 3/4 lessons in java.

Learning Module #4
Working with Unity - partnered with Ryan C and Ryan D
For Learning Module #4, Reilyn, Ryan C, and Ryan D decided to use the 10 days they were given to learn Unity and how to make a virtual first person game. Throughout the ten days, Reilyn, Ryan D and Ryan C ran into a lot of issues but they ended up with a first person walk through with dancing avatars, a killer crab, etc.

Learning Module #5
3D printing Mr. Detrick - Partnered with Ryan D
For Learning Module #5, Reilyn and Ryan D decided to work with a Xbox 360 kinect to scan a classmate and Mr. Detrick, and then print it out with the 3D printer. Throughout the 12 days they were given, Ryan and Reilyn ended up with several different colors and types of prints.

Learning module #6
Making a website - Partnered with Disha P
For learning module 6, Disha and Reilyn decided to teach themselves HTML, CSS and a little bit of java script so they can code a website that is beneficial for our environment and educational for anyone.
By the end of the 12 days that Reilyn and Disha were given to complete this learning module, Reilyn and Disha had a successful website that included tons of information and four different tabs.

Learning Module #7
Bluetooth RC car - Partnered with Ryan D
For learning Module 7, Ryan and Reilyn started out hoping to control a RC car with a Wii fit board but within a few days they had to change there module to the Wii remote which also didn't work. Towards the end of their project they decided that they had to go with the simpler route which was using the Bluetooth module and the Samsung tablet for the RC car.
By the end of the 13 days that Reilyn and Ryan were given to complete this learning module, They had a decent running RC car that you can connect to the Samsung tablet and control.

Learning module #8
Media Center - Just Reilyn
For learning module 8, Reilyn decided to work alone and she had originally planned to make a smart scale using a raspberry pi but the project was very outdated and she didn't have time. Since she couldn't do what she planned, she decided to make a media center using a raspberry pi where you can access the weather, different channels, youtube and more.
By the end of the 18 days that she was given, Reilyn ended up with a working media center that gave you the weather, MLB highlights, google drive, NASA and more.
Learning Module #9
Motion Detection Camera - Partnered with Jackson L
For Learning Module 9, Reilyn and Jackson decided to make a motion detecting security system using a raspberry pi. Their main goal with this module was to have a successful motion detecting camera that can email you about the detection.
By the end of the 23 days they were given, Reilyn and Jackson had set up 3 value HD cameras to a raspberry by and you were able to access the camera on your computer and watch them live. They were also able to get the cameras to store videos and pictures of the motion they detecting and the cameras could send emails also.
