For my first learning module of the year, I started with the simple task of learning how to use a soldering kit to solder wires, resistors, and other electronic components to a circuit board. It was simple enough to pick up and learn. No presentations were made for this learning module and I didn't include my summary log because there's nothing interesting or of note in it.
Learning Module #2 was attempting to create a 2D Platforming game using the Unity Game Engine. A lot of time was spent researching and learning how to get started with the game's development. My weekly summary of work and final PowerPoint presentation are included to showcase the work I put in.
Learning Module #3 was a continuation of my last one, developing a 2D Platformer game using Unity. I spent a lot more time focusing on finishing the game and having the game playable using the game hosting service Itch.io. A link to the finished game is shown below, if you want to play it yourself.
Learning Module #4 was a sort of sampler of a variety of the Arduinos sensors. I spent time researching various sensors from the Arduino Sensor Kit and testing how they work. I also spent some time trying to update Arduino Firmware to simulate keyboard input via Ultrasonic Sensor, but couldn't quite get it to work.
Learning Module #5 was spent trying to use Unity to make a simple VR Game. However after having a lot of trouble finding resources and tutorial to try and figure out UnityXR I ended up only being able to make an 3D Environment within Unity that I could walk around in Virtual Reality.
Learning Module #6 was an attempt to learn a lot about various Unity Systems in a short amount of time, by working on a few mini game projects instead of one big project throughout the 4 week timespan. I was able to make 3 very basic games, the last one being designed by myself without following a tutorial
