Learning Mod 1: Soldering with Joe B.
Joe and i learned the basics of soldering and learning that no solder can touch or else it can create a closed circuit and make the whole thing not work.
Learning Mod 2: Arduino with Joe B.
Joe and i learned about arduino, coding and wiring the bread board. it was very useful to understand circuits and which resistors you need and how to position it so it works properly.
Learning Mod 3: Raspberry Pi with Pedro C.
Pedro and i went through many things doing the Raspberry Pi, we tried to learn kali linux then used Raspbian but it was very interesting to see all the capabilities of the raspberry pi.
Learning Mod 4: DIY virtual reality skateboard with Ravi M.
Ravi and I faced many challenges mostly because the Arduino code did not work and the blue tooth module did not work after the first few days and unity was also giving us problems we were able to learn from our mistakes though and will learn more about unity in the future.
Ravi and I started off thinking about what we could do with the raspberry pi since we just had some trial and error with the arduino we thought it would be good to switch gears and try to learn something new. We decided we would learning some basics in Kali Linux. There is a raspberry pi from the James Madison University Cyber Camp 2016. I worked with the retropi to present during the showcase. After that we were able to root an old phone that took a long time because it was so old.
