An Ork Painboy is responsible for fixing injuries even the highly regenerative Ork physiology cannot repair, such as severed limbs and brain damage. An Ork will only go to a Painboy when he has no other choice, as these Oddboyz are infamous for trying out experimental procedures on patients while they are under anaesthesia (known as a "concussion" to other intelligent races).

In addition, you can spend 1 Wrath Point during a Regroup or Respite to attempt a Medicae Test to heal a single Traumatic Injury on an Ork or Grot character.
The DN for the Test is equal to 7 + the number of Traumatic Injuries the patient has sustained; if you attempt the Test on a creature from another Species, the base DN is doubled.
Regardless of the result of the Test, the patient suffers 1d3 Shock.
On a Wrath Critical, the patient recovers 1 Wrath.
On a Complication, the patient suffers 1d3 Mortal Wounds and 3d3 Shock, and is Exhausted until their next Respite. If the Test still succeeds, the injury is not fully healed; perhaps the limb was sewn on the wrong way, or the wrong limb entirely has been reattached - the DN of any Test made using the affected body part is increased by 1 until it can be fixed with a DN 5 Medicae Test.
