Lexicanium

A young Librarian who has generally not yet seen combat and is still learning to fully control and make use of his psychic powers. This is the lowest rank amongst a Chapter's Librarians, awarded to those who have passed their trials and who are now deemed fit to serve the Chief Librarian.

It is the lexicanium's role to aid in the endless task of maintaining, studying and cataloguing the vast amounts of texts within the Librarius. In times of conflict, however, lexicani will leave the Librarius and take to the battlefield alongside their battle-brothers, using their powers to smite their foes.

Lexicani usually appear very similar to their fellow, non-psychic battle-brothers except for the blue power armour that all Librarians are required to wear by the Codex Astartes as a sign of their status.

Psyker: You have the Psyker keyword, and are a psyker. You know the universal psyker abilities, one minor psychic power, and the smite psychic power. You may purchase additional psychic powers, following the rules in chapter 11.

Focused Mind: You gain +Rank bonus dice on Tests to Resist Corruption or to prevent another entity from interfering with your mind.

If you are a Primaris Marine, replace your power armour with Mk X "Tacitus" Power Armour, and your Bolt Pistol with a Heavy Bolt Pistol
