Back From The Brink: If your Agent is killed during the course of a mission, but their body is not outright destroyed, you may ask your GM if it is possible they were found and saved by members of another Faction. If they agree that this is reasonable, you may choose to take the Ascension Package Back From The Brink (Core Rules, pg. 150) early, providing you have enough unspent XP to cover the cost of the Package.
Although you may take the package immediately following the conclusion of the mission, you cannot subsequently use an Ascension Package or Archetype Ascension upon reaching the next Tier.
Ascension Package XP Cost: The following Ascension Packages from the Wrath & Glory Core Rulebook are re-costed as stated;
Back From The Brink - 25 XP
Dauntless Reputation - 50 XP
Demanding Patron - 25 XP
Foundational Faith - 25 XP
Psychic Awakening - 25 XP
Perfidious Wretch - N/A; use XP cost from Rulebook
Stay the Course - 25 XP
If the Ascension Package is taken as part of Character Creation when creating an Agent of Tier 2 or higher, the normal XP cost in the Rulebook is used instead.
