Voidships share several mechanical features with regular vehicles, although the scales are incompatible. Voidships are determined by the following key statistics;

Your ship's Speed Rating is equivalent to how far it can travel at Cruising Speed, typically measured in km.
This represents the ship's ability to evade enemy weapons. A ship's Defence is affected by its current speed (see Movement)
Your ship's Resilience represents its ability to withstand damage. All of a voidship's Resilience is considered to be AR, therefore any weapons with an AP Value subtract this from the target's Resilience.
A measure of the vehicle’s overall structural integrity. A voidship is disabled when it accumulates more Wounds than its Max Wounds. This functions like a character’s Wounds.
Your ship's Size category. Size mostly provides a sense of scale, but it is also a factor in determining the DN to hit the vessel with an attack;
Attack Craft: Cannot be targeted by weapons without the Point-Defence Trait (however, they may still be affected by their effects, such as the Blast radius of certain weapons)
Tiny: +2 Defence (does not apply when targeted by other Tiny ships, or by weapons with the Point Defence Trait)
Small: +1 Defence when moving at Cruising Speed or faster
Medium: N/A
Large: N/A
Huge: +1 bonus dice to hit when it is moving slower than its Cruising Speed
Gargantuan: +1 bonus dice to hit
As well as this, Size also determines the total number of Ship Systems that can be installed on a vessel's hull (see Ship Systems)
Your ship's Crew Rating is a measure of the effectiveness of your crew and determines the size of your dice pool for all Voidship Tests made unless otherwise specified. A vessel's Crew Rating is tied to its Captain, and is equal to 1 + Rank + Leadership Rating, up to a maximum pool of 10; a Captain can expend their vessel’s Simple Action to add ½ their Leadership Rating as bonus dice to a single Test.
If no Agent is present to act as Captain, the Crew Rating of a vessel is equal to 5.
