- MajorFigure NameAnshu is the gilded capital city, an artificial oasis constructed in the center of a vast lake of lava, known as the Foundry of Highgarde, it is a society deeply steeped in etiquette, honor, and the destiny of a person, using a complex lunar calendar to decide ones societal standings in the moments of their birth, and upon their 16th Birthday they may undergo a trial to increase their standing. This rigid caste structure is responsible for maintaining the order of the city, from the lowliest Scummers, those who pull metal from the lava lakes, a job that affords a short, brutal lifespan… to the Artisans and Politicians of high society.

Anshu is lead by the enigmatic but aloof Wakhisa family, who are known to maintain their political capitol with the Drosian Imperium with regular shipments of the gold mined from deep beneath the lava lake, gold mined by workers paid for by the Royal Family. The nation overall is a provider of wealth and metals, especially a high-grade steel known as Phoenix Tears, which are impervious to heat, and a metal known as Skysteel, which defies gravity and while extremely expensive, is found on a few airships as Armor and structural support. The Drosian Imperium has largely left Anshu to its own devices, in part because of the immediate capitulation of Anshu during the invasion, and part because of the regular, forthcoming shipments of materials. It remains largely independent.
